:O

Like the time I got a free beer because the person next to me at the bar left before the bartender came back with it, and he was all like "HERE U GO SIR" and I was all like "WHY THANK YOU KIND SIR" and then I drank it, this is the best thing to ever happen to me.

You guys win.

I've just kissed my productivity away...

..Because there's no way I'll be getting anything done in the next month. Good work :)

As mentioned below, there's a bug in your method that checks for new moves, I also had a situation where there were at least 1 more move that I could see and it declared no more moves. You're better off taking it out and adding a reset/quit button for when people get stuck.

Sorry guys

Although you did a good job, I expected a lot more from it. Brian, I know you're a terrific scripter, and that this was indeed rushed. But to give an honest review (and not lick your ass) the game is about as much fun as plucking hairs from my scrotum. The controls, the speed, the collision detection, and what really makes a fighting game, the gameplay balance simply wasn't there.

I don't really think a fighting game is something you should have rushed. As a halfassed fighter really simply isn't much fun. I can see this being a great game with a bit of polish, a few tweaks and some general improvments. Graphics were great. :)

I never claimed it wasn't rushed :). There's so many minor bugs in the game its unreal. And even a couple major ones.

And because it was rushed, we didn't have a lot of time for gameplay balance. I knew from the start it would suffer in that category. Orange Clock and Bio are a little too powerful, for example. The controls aren't great because I didn't have time to optimize the graphics so it lags and doesn't register the special moves well (except in low quality).

The speed I don't feel so bad about since I intended this to be more of a tactical, slower-paced fighter like fights in the movie were, and not some button mashing speedfest.

And yes, the collision detection needs some work, but I thought I did a pretty decent job with that aspect, at least.

I really value your opinion, and you've always been a cleaner actionscripter than I have been (at least it seems that way). If you like, hunt me down to chat sometime and you can help me improve the game.

Wow.

10 out of 10.. Except it's 9. Minus 1 point for the bug where i forgot to take this seriously.
